About Cordura Heavy Waterproof Oxford
Our Cordura Heavy Waterproof Oxford is similar in weight and uses to Waterproof Canvas (WPC) but is 100% Polyester fiber instead of Cotton.
This fabric features a clear polyurethane coating on the back and a durable water-repellent finish on the front for a long-lasting product that resists the elements and is easy to clean. Close to a 1000D, the actual woven construction of this fabric is a 915 x 1220 denier fabric.
Because of its great resistance to abrasion, mildew and rot, plus its quick-drying abilities, this high-performance polyester product is great for backpacks, custom bags, luggage, pet products, travel accessories, outdoor gear, footwear and sail bags.
Although a heavy duty fabric, it doesn't have many of the usual sewing irritations of heavy weight material (it's not stiff and doesn't have a PVC backing, etc.). This makes it more versatile, as there isn't any rigid stiffness or bulky weight to limit its uses.

Cut Sizes
Orders for multiples of the same cut size or that include different cut sizes of the same fabric will be cut separately unless you leave an order comment at checkout requesting them as one piece. Cuts of over 5 yards are not guaranteed to be one piece.

Care
The fabric may have fold lines in it from shipping.
- Use a sponge or damp cloth with clean, warm water to wipe the surface
- Your urethane coated fabrics may be hand washed as needed using warm water and a mild detergent
- Do not use bleach
- These fabrics should be line dried
- Low iron may be used to remove fold lines, no hotter than 350 degrees
- Do not dry clean
